New Perspective

How can you live a happier and healthier life? I can't tell you that, but I can give you a few pointers that I, myself, am trying. So far they are working. I'm happier with my appearance and more self-confident. I'm happier. I feel better in general. So here is what I'm doing different.

1) I'm exercising on a regular schedule  It helps me to relieve stress. I word it in this fashion because I don't exercise daily, but I do pretty close to. Five to six times a week. And I don't mean just going for a walk. Heck, I walk everywhere. No I mean really exerting myself, and making myself sweat.

2) I try to keep my thoughts light. At first it seemed fake. Kind of like I was putting on a show for everyone else, but eventually it just happened naturally.  I cannot tell you when exactly this happened as it was a gradual transition, but it did.

3) I have a good and reliable friend that I can talk to when I need him. When all else fails, it really helps to open up to him. Even if he can't offer any practical advice, it is still a great comfort to know that I'm not really as alone as I may feel at that particular moment.

So all of this is what I'm doing to keep the last of my New Year Resolutions. So far, so good. Maybe this will help you, maybe not. I am but a humble blogger.
